Fish Creek & Toora

The historic buildings of Fish Creek are largely preserved and home to a number of cafes, galleries, and artist studios. It's a pretty place to spend a couple of hours as you wander the township. From there, you can keep heading east toward Agnes Falls for an easy bushwalk and epic views into the gorge. On your way back, follow up with a walk through Stanley Street in Toora and maybe a bite to eat at Tooradeli.

Foster

Foster is a slightly larger town and is a great place to stock up on produce if you plan to eat in at the motel. You'll find plenty of local options to fill your bags. While you're there, make sure to drop past Gurney's Cidery for a tasting and late lunch.
