Agnes Falls

From seemingly out of nowhere, the Agnes River suddenly drops away into the spectacular gorge below. Whilst it's no Victoria Falls (so we're told), it is pretty impressive and a much shorter drive from the motel.

It's just under an hour away and the drive will take you through the towns of Fish Creek and Toora. The parkland around the river is a protected reserve and is full of native fauna and birdlife. There are picnic facilities by the river and it's a nice spot to spend an hour or so.

The walk to the falls themselves is short, well maintained and reasonably accessible for little or tired legs.
