Eventually you are going to need to leave your room - even if it's only because you're hungry. Thankfully the town of Tarwin Lower is very well serviced by the local pub (just 80 metres away) and the local IGA (just a 3 minute walk) which is stocked full of local produce, pantry staples and a bottle shop.

Feel like travelling a little further? Just a few minutes drive away, you'll find the beachside town of Venus Bay and the banksia forests of Point Smythe.

Head the other direction to inland towns like Fish Creek and Meeniyan for local artisans, cafes and restaurants, markets and walks. Or you might like to explore the rock pools, caves and beaches of the coast from Cape Paterson and Inverloch through to Walkerville and Wilson's Promontory.
