Shallow Inlet Marine and Coastal Park
Sandy Point

Shallow inlet is accessible from the eastern and western sides. The closest to the motel and the easiest access is just a minute or two past Sandy Point. As the name suggests, the shallow waters make this a family friendly swimming beach but it's also really popular for boating, fishing and wind/kite surfing.

On cooler days, this is a nice place for a walk along the sand or tracks through the coastal bush. It's packed with native animals and birds and beautiful views across the inlet.
