The famous Venus Bay Beach No. 1 is just a 20 minute cycle along the protected bike path on our sweet motel bikes. That said, if you're lugging equipment or children, the large carpark will have space on all but the busiest days.
The beach is patrolled all through summer and most weekends in the warmer months by the amazing Venus Bay Surf Lifesaving Club. There are toilet facilities and showers and it's just a short walk to the Venus Bay shops if you fish and chips on the beach are your thing.
In cooler weather, rug up and take a stroll along the sand and watch the amazing sunsets. You'll have the beach to yourself (probably) and there's every chance you'll come across wombats and kangaroos looking for a seachange.
